Dato’ Thanarajasingam, 62, has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. He has served as a Malaysian diplomat for more than 36 years including as Malaysian Ambassador to France and Portugal (2006-2010) and Ambassador to Brazil, Venezuela, Suriname, Guyana (1998-2001). He had also served as the Chief of Staff to the President of the United Nations General Assembly in 1997. At home, he rose to become Deputy Secretary General for Multilateral Affairs, Foreign Ministry after being Director General for ASEAN.
Upon his retirement from the Malaysian Foreign Service in 2010, he became a Director of OSK Investment Bank. Currently he is a Commissioner at the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission, the regulatory arm for communications in Malaysia. He is also the Malaysian Eminent Person for ASEAN-India Eminent Persons Group and is Chairman of Mestari Adjusters, a firm dealing with insurance matters.

Manfred P Nhlapo
Manfred A. Nhlapo was the former Consul Economic (Investment Officer) at the South African Consulate in New York City. Mr Nhlapo trained in Viticulture and Oenology in Bulgaria and did his postgraduate training in Development Economics at Imperial College (University of London). He returned to South Africa after fifteen (15) years of political exile in 1992. Between the years 1988 to 1996 Mr Nhlapo was on the African National Congress's (ANC) Land Commission and it’s Caucus on Agriculture and Land Policy.
Mr Nhlapo joined the Agricultural Credit Board (ACB) until the board's functions were transferred to the Land and Agricultural Bank in 1998. Apart from several South African languages spoken , Mr Nhlapo speaks German, Bulgarian, Kiswahili and has a working knowledge Russian language.
